![]() ![]() Remember that the YCS/186 is only available at the Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch. The YCS/186 does much more damage than the base Gauss, but it requires more frequent reloads due a smaller magazine size, making it less useful in close combat. ![]() If you are planning on using energy weapons, this is probably what you will want, the Gauss rifle: The game provides several tools to get OP weapons within the first six or so hours, provided you are willing to spend some money and devote a build to maintaining the said weapon. The thing to look out for is that all repair kits and items be it for outfits or guns are specific. These kits are expensive as well but you can make them work by gaining a partial repair through them that you otherwise couldn't get making the repair at the mechanic cheaper. All of this depends on the actual state of the parts that you're using to repair your gun. There are a few ways to go about repairing a gun, for example: The first is the straightforward and very expensive one where you pay your faction mechanic to repair your gun. You also get special parts by disassembling items that will be needed to upgrade your gear. You disassemble weapons and armor to get materials that you can repair stuff with or sell them. It's really a long and complicated topic but I'll try to keep it short. ![]() Is there a guide explaining the mod's mechanics, like the repair system? When Fallout 76 was released, it received plenty of criticism around its dialogue and plot, as did Fallout 4 before it. Rich philosophical themes weave throughout the narrative, and player choice has an obvious and meaningful impact on the plot. Like it’s high-fantasy counterpart Skyrim, New Vegas’ success can be largely attributed to its sprawling questlnes, vibrant NPCs, and an impeccably high standard of writing. ![]() |
